Trekking around Little Tibet provides amazing attractions of Markha Stream, mustard areas, small towns with Stokhe safari in Markha valley is simply amazing. Markha Valley trek has been, one of the most sought after holiday trek among whole range of trekkers from expert to naive, partly because it lies adjacent to the most favorite Valley of Ladakh and partly because at the culimation point where the valley ends lies the famous and the massive mountain Kangyatse with snow-capped  peak touching the sky with glory. The beautiful Valley of Markha is overshadowed by Kangyatse and other groups of Peaks in the range.

The numerous small villages, shepherds camps and passes are main feature of this trek. The trek begins from Spituk monastery or Stok village passing through Stok La and Gandala Pass, which takes you across Markha valley. At last it crosses Kongmaru Pass and finishes wonderful trek at the famous Hemis monastery.

Duration: 9 days
Best Time: June to October
Highest Point: Kongmaru La (5135m)
